Solar maintenance is crucial for checking your system is running correctly and you are getting the most out of your investment. It may also be a condition of your solar system product warranty to get regular maintenance by a solar accredited electrician.
We perform solar system health checks which involves inspecting and testing all components of your system as well as cleaning the panels and providing a report with any findings including any suggested repairs or replacements needed.
To ensure you are getting the maximum return on your solar system and to prolong the life of the components of the system, we recommend getting solar maintenance every two years, or sooner if you have any concerns. Make sure to check your product warranty for their required solar servicing schedule.
Over time solar panels accumulate dirt and grime which can make them up to 35% less effective. Furthermore, debris such as leaves and sticks can become stuck, and animals can make homes on or under the panels which can cause damage if left unattended. Solar panel cleaning is crucial in ensuring your system is running at full capacity.
